  • Bart Morrison - Founder and Chief Executive Officer

    Prior to starting HGS, Mr. Morrison led a distinguished civilian government career including serving as Director of Acquisition Workforce Policy for the DoD and as Professor of Acquisition Management at the Defense Acquisition University. He was selected for a US DoD Business Transformation Task Force where he led efforts to use US military contracting activity in Iraq to bolster the nascent Iraqi industrial sector. Mr. Morrison received the Secretary of Defense’s Global War on Terrorism Medal and the Joint Civilian Service Commendation Award, the highest ranking civilian honor presented by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. 

  • Leslye McDade Morrison, Ph.D. - Co-Founder and Chief Learning Officer

    Dr. McDade-Morrison is an expert in the neurosciences of learning, including how students learn, how neuroscience fundamentals impact active learning, and cognition, and how they should be used in selecting appropriate learning strategies. She served as Chief Learning Officer for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (OSD AT&L), and as Director of Academic Programs for the Army Civilian University, where she managed an Army-wide leader development program for 300,000 Army civilians.

  • Mat Fuller - Director, Digital Arts

    Mr. Fuller leads the HGS Digital Arts group and provides creative leadership for a wide range of media content and learning tools.  He is an Emmy-nominated VFX artist who has also worked as an on-set Visual Effects Supervisor, Director, Designer, Creative Director and Post Production Producer since 2001. He brings an innovative approach to our visual offerings, including: video-based training modules, 3D modeling, micro-learning tutorials, animation/simulation sequences, and high-end visual effects.
